Job Description

Our highly respected client is seeking an expert with experience in design solutions of software applications for the job of Business Analyst. The job is based in Makati City, Manila, Philippines.

Job summary

  • Provide user application support in installing and implementing Company software/products.
  • Provide analysis related to specific system data conversion and assist financial institutions install and implement company software.
  • Conduct application training.
  • Participate in operations review and application workshops.
  • Provide input to the development of the company product for the ASPAC customer base.
  • Provide support to other departments as required.
  • Develop Business Requirements as specified by clients.
  • Write Functional Specifications employing CBS standards.
  • Develop and execute Master Test Plans and Detailed Test Scripts to validate completed Modifications.
  • Review data base comparisons, prepare specifications for programmers and build system parameters for new clientsVerify conversion program results and assist programmers with identification of adverse code resultsExamine conversion generated reports for completeness and accuracy to ensure successful conversion resultsExamine parameters and data output with client to ensure system is performing as designed and customer understand the options and parameters available
  • Assist with support and/or training of the client prior to, during and after the conversion.
  • Provide conversion support, conduct data mapping exercise during project conversion phase.
  • Prepare reports and logs as requiredConduct client training and internal training sessions.
  • Prepare and provide standard training materialsAnalyze and design changes and enhancements to company software to meet contractual commitments.
  • Write business requirements and functional specifications.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (min.)
  • Five years’ experience (min.)
  • Strong knowledge of financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of company business and products and an in-depth knowledge of how company’s existing technology can address our customers’ needs.
  • Must be able to organize activities and handle multiple projects simultaneously with effective and timely follow-up on each.
  • Possess a positive attitude while operating under pressure, and be an independent problem-solver.
  • Strong team player in a high-performance team.
  • Must possess the analytical skills and attention to detail necessary to address the details of pre and post sales systems implementation for customers while maintaining a big picture view of the sales opportunity and customer implementation.
  • Excellent skills in interviewing/information gathering, group facilitation, and verbal/written communication.
