Job Description
Our respected client is seeking an experienced project manager (PM) professional for the job of Project Manager, to be based in Makati City, Manila, Philippines. The winning candidate will be responsible for spearheading and ensur delivery of multiple projects by maintaining prescribed time, cost and quality standards.
Key job responsibilities include:
- Mapping clients’ requirements and providing them best solutions involving evaluation and definition of scope of project and finalization of project requirements
- Overseeing implementation of processes and change management in close coordination with the project steering board
- Responding to application or service issues and managing all required activities through to resolution and keeping business and IT stakeholders abreast of the progress
- Managing a wide gamut of functional aspects like Processes, Problem Management, Change Management, Service Level Management, Team Performance, Capacity Management and Business Continuity Management
- Framing architectural decisions and providing direction, strategy, and vision in the areas of technology and product development to facilitate and enable growth and business agility
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, IT related course and/or Post Graduate Diploma/Master’s Degree in any field
- Managerial experience with 5-10 years of exposure in Investment banking / Capital Markets / Wealth Management/ Private Banking Industry.
- Managing projects end to end related to implementation of product related projects
- Planning and execution of Projects globally across diverse client segments in a time-bound, hands-on and collaborative manner
- Experience in managing of projects including tracking of team’s tasks, tracking / reviewing deliverables in line with signed off specifications, project milestones and linked receivables
- Forecasting of potential time overruns and escalation to highest level of stake-holders without hesitation
- Transparent and professional reporting of project status with in-depth analysis of potential challenges
- Ability to work independently with complete accountability and without constant supervision, should have excellent English communication skills both written & oral
- Knowledgeable of Capital Markets domain at a high-level; experience in this segment will be desirable but not compulsory
- Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills.
