Job Description
- Lead multiple functional teams for testing guidance, estimation, discussions for functional & non-functional testing.
- Create and maintain well-crafted, thorough and detailed test cases/test automation scripts for your team's areas of focus.
- Connect with team members for frequent and constructive feedback.
- Perform and drive all hands-on testing activities within an Agile Engineering Team on web and mobile platform (iOS / Android).
- Proactive in analysis, design and planning activities.
- Multi-task to work with QA teams from different functional areas in a fast-paced test environments.
- Lead the collaboration within QA team and with other teams.
- Interact with Dev, PM & QA to prepare thorough test plan.
- Proactively keep up to date with the latest test strategies and apply them to daily work to drive improvement to QA practices across the organization.
- Be an enthusiastic advocate for good Agile practices on your team and across the organization.
Minimum Qualifications
- Overall 6+ years of software QA experience and at least 2 years of experience in leading and mentoring 5+ members QA team.
- Experience working with multiple functional modules and parallel testing activities.
- High level of comfort writing and using SQL for database exploration.
- Strong experience in API testing using Postman or JMeter.
- Experience related to HTTP debugging on web and mobile based application (iOS, Android).
- Experience in web & mobile (iOS, Android) testing.
- Working knowledge of Test and Bug management tools (JIRA, Zephyr).
- Good analytical thinking and problem solving capabilities.
- Detailed understanding of the importance of good documentation and requirement analysis.
- Strong communication skills. Should be comfortable with written and spoken English.
- Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working with Agile Software development environments.
Good to have:
Automation testing experience or working knowledge of Selenium Webdriver or other automated tools (Appium, Protractor)
