Job Description
The primary responsibility of the Senior Accountant is the preparation of financial statements and support schedules according to timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and filing of BIR Returns and other regulatory and statutory reports;
- Maintenance of accounting control by following policies and procedures, regulatory and statutory requirements (BIR, SEC etc.);
- Preparation of account reconciliations (cash, liabilities, fixed assets, payroll accruals) and supporting sub-ledgers;
- Research and resolution of account reconciling items;
- Support other team members as necessary;
- Other projects as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- A graduate of BS in Accountancy;
- With more than one (1) year work experience in full-accounting;
- Knowledgeable in Accounting, PAS, PFRS and Tax;
- With experience in handling Accounting Software/Enterprise Resource Program (Quickbooks, SAP etc.);
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies;
- With leadership qualities, keen to details and able to multitask effectively;
- Willing to work overtime including Saturdays;
- Willing to work in Laguna (Cabuyao and Calamba);
- CPA Licensure is an advantage
