Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Handle preparation and issuance of invoices, monitoring of collections and deposits and recording of all AR transactions
- Handle receiving invoice, request for approval, voucher and check preparations, release/payment, recording of all AP transactions, monitoring of outstanding/unpaid invoices/payables
- Handle monitoring and updating of amortization of prepayments, lease/rental, depreciation, etc., and the corresponding journal entries
- Handle monitoring of expenses for accrual and all items for adjustment
- Ensure that all transactions are considered and recorded for monthly closing of accounting books
- Hande preparation and filing of all applicable monthly/quarterly/semi-annual/annual return including its attachments, based on the Certificate of Registration (COR) with the BIR
- Updating of books - manual, loose-leaf or computerized
- Ensure that all necessary compliance with SEC and other government agencies (i.e. BOI, PEZA, LGU, etc.) are properly complies with
- Ensure thatr all supporting documents and communications with clients are filed in a manner that is easy to retrieve and in proper order/filing system
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of BS Accountancy
- At least 6 months work experience
- PAS, PFRS and Tax Trained
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Applications and accounting systems
- Willing to be assigned outside the office if the need arises
- CPA Licensure is an advantage
