Job Description
- Conducts daily adminsitrative tasks to help ensure that any accounting system used by MBSI (internally or for a client) runs smoothly
- Be able to provide timely resolutions to problems encountered and be able to identify potential problems before they become an incident
- Be able to provide the needed setup and enhancements (within the bounds of the features of the Accounting system) by the users/clients
- Must be able to get the confidence of the client in his ability to carry out his role as Accounting System Specialist through skills, ingenuity, and customer service orientation
- Must be able to study newer versions and newer accounting systems in order to come up with an assessment and recommendation
- Do technical documentation for the Business Requirement Document
- Provide specialist technical advise to clients and troubleshooting regarding accounting systems
Minimum Qualifications
- Accounting Graduate
- At least 1-2 years of using Excel and Quickbooks in an officce environment
- Must have good understanding on any of the following programs
- QuickBooks
- Xero
- Peachtree
- MYOB
- Netsuite
- Must at least have a certificate of Training Completion for any accounting system
- Must have good knowledge of accounting procedures, policies, regulations and rules
- Must possess time management research, communication and organizational skills
- Responsible and can work with minor supervision
- Willing to do OT and visit clients
