Senior Actuarial Analyst  

Responsibilities:

• Construct financial models based on geometric Brownian motion to estimate the fair value of equity-based compensation within a risk-neutral framework
• Develop economic assumptions needed to estimate the fair value of equity-based compensation
• Model the potential financial accounting impact of alternative equity plans and programs to assist clients in maximizing the perceived value received by participants in the most efficient manner
• Apply traditional valuation models to other types of securities, including warrants, derivatives, and financial instruments with embedded optionality
• Use statistical modeling to assess the difficulty of alternative performance goals
• Support account managers with projects, analyses, and other needs of clients
• Prepare reports, exhibits, summaries, presentations, and recommendations for client deliverables
• Manage the deliverable schedules to clients to ensure timely completion
• Conduct meetings and interactions with clients, focusing on customer service
• Monitor and address emerging issues for equity programs for client companies
• Attend industry training and networking events as well as pursuing applicable industry designations
• Perform and assist with market research for marketing collateral and business expansion
• Monitor client budgets and staff utilization to ensure profitability of engagements
• Prepare and submit client invoices, and ensure timely collections

Qualifications:

• Degree holder preferably in accounting, finance
• 3-5 years of consulting experience related to stock-based compensation, including stock option and derivative valuation, financial accounting, compensation consulting, and/or stock plan administration
• Has strong quantitative skills and familiarity with the models used to value options and derivatives (Black-Scholes, lattice-based models, Monte Carlo simulations, etc.).
• Knowledge of the financial accounting standards and tax regulations related to equity-based compensation is preferred.
