- Performs a variety of General Accounting support tasks under the supervision of the Accountant including:
- Verifies the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records.
- Updates and maintains accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions (e.g., disbursements, expense vouchers, receipts, accounts payable).
- Enters data into computer system using defined computer programs. Compile data and prepare a variety of reports.
- Reconciles records with internal company employees and management, or external vendors or customers.
- Recommends actions to resolve discrepancies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of B.S. Accountancy,
- Holder of relevant certification (CPA) not required but a plus.
- With at least one (1) year Accounting job experience
- Computer literate and knowledgeable in spread sheet applications.
- Able to attend to detail and do multi-tasking work
