Construction Foreman  

Provides leadership and direction to construction crews, rendering hands-on assistance; overseeing any size construction project, from planning to implementing and leading a team of workers to do their jobs in order to complete the project

Responsibilities include:

• Planning, organizing and coordinating the daily activities of all crew members, subcontractors, equipment and utilize corrective action from start to finish while keeping the project on time and on budget.
• Determining the work and task priorities to be done by having the right number of employees which possess the required skills for the job,
• Ensuring that workers obey all safety regulations by communicating safety procedures to employees or safety training to new workers. Inspects the work environment or equipment to verify that no hazardous conditions exist.
• Tracking inventory and initiating requisitions for needed parts or supplies.
• Performing quality inspections to ensure that work or production is progressing satisfactorily.

• With at least Two (2) years experience as a Building Construction Foreman.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of the technical aspects of a project, such as carpentry, concrete work, plumbing and electrical work. Also construction methods, construction materials and the use and maintenance of construction equipment including Heavy equipment.
• Good people skills
• Good time management skills
• Strong communication skills, written and oral
• High School Diploma or Vocational course preferred
