Product Team:

The team is comprised of Imagineers range of backgrounds in engineering, science, and design. We all share a profound understanding of customer needs and the ability to synthesize those needs with business objective and technology solutions. Innovation doesn’t happen on its own, and we’re at the forefront of it doing real research and development to solve problems that don’t have answers. We apply interdisciplinary engineering knowledge and data-driven principles within local market contexts to design and build holistic full lifecycle analysis that bridge the technology and infrastructure gaps present in Migo’s markets. We participate in the full product development process from conception of new product ideas through analysis of business viability through development into real products, all while maintaining close collaboration with teams across the organization and our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
• Develop and implement databases: collection systems, analytics, and other strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and quality
• Acquire data from reliable and credible data sources and to maintain databases and systems
• Identify, analyze and interpret trends in complex data sets
• Exercise waste management by reviewing reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct errors
• Closely work with other teams and leads to prioritize business and information needs
• Spot and define new strategies for process improvement opportunities.

• At least a degree in BS Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics, and alike.
• Relative experience as a data analyst or scientist
• Expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Object etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.)
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
