Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and deploy highly performant distributed systems, micro-services and cloud-based solutions
- Maintain technical documentation.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Implement monitoring for all services to ensure their reliability
Minimum Qualifications
Need-to-have:
- Understanding of micro-services and distributed architectures
- Fluency in Java, Go, or a similar back-end language.
- Experience in writing unit and/or automated tests.
- Experience with version control systems (such as Git)
- Experience consuming APIs (REST OR SOAP) from 3d parties.
- Experience with database design principles and syntax (E.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, etc)
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
- Experience with NoSQL databases (E.g. DynamoDB, MongoDB, etc.)
- Experience with event driven architectures (E.g. Rabbit Kafka, NATs, SQS, SNS, etc.)
- Experience with deployment automation (E.g. Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.)
- Experience with AWS (E.g. EC2, RDS, EBS, lambda, S3, etc.)

- UI: React, Redux, Webpack, Babel, Jest
- Back-end services: Java, Spring-Boot, Golang, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB
- AWS: Lambda, EC2, SQS, SNS, S3, Xray, etc.
- Other Infrastructure and Devops: Docker, Kubernetes, Github, Bamboo
- Monitoring and Logging: Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk
- Issue tracking and Documentation: Jira, Confluence
