Job Description
- Understand business requirements to prepare functional and technical designs
- Develop new functionality for our CRM systems. These are predominantly Oracle enterprise products, but also include other common IT technologies.
- Assist and mentor junior team members
- Test new functions and release them into production
- Provide second level support for production systems
- Show ownership of tasks from design to delivery. Interact with business and other IT teams as required to deliver tasks on time.
- At times, work with external consultants and contractors
- Join our Agile team and participate in SCRUM ceremonies
Minimum Qualifications
- Degree qualified, or equivalent, in an IT/computer science/software engineering related discipline
- CRM Software (Oracle Siebel or Oracle Engagement Cloud or related - OPA, OIC, OCS, CX)
- Web development using HTML, CSS and Java Script
- Interface techniques like REST or SOAP
- Working with databases and SQL queries
- Experience with object-oriented design and development
- Experience in unit testing and functional testing
- Business understanding
- Functional design e.g. user stories
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and documentation
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Desire to learn new technologies and ability to adapt to new ways of working
