Job Description
We are hiring for a C# .Net Developer for an Australian provider of investment courses for the private investor community.
Responsibilities:
- Daily stand –up meeting with project team
- Implement stories with a Test Driven Development (TDD) mindset
- Testing - DDR (pre alpha testing)
- Translate business specs to technical specs
- Participate in code reviews
- Involved in defect fixing and software releases when required
- Willing to step in and resolve issues with the continuous build environment
- Work with business users to clarify requirements and resolve issues
- Write technical documentation such as (but not limited to) flow, class and database diagrams
- Operate using internal procedures and continuously improve all processes
- Release Management - product release to alpha, beta and customer
- Server Maintainance - aws and appery
- Support - support for reported bugs
Minimum Qualifications
- Core Skills: C# .Net and Winforms
- Good understanding of design patterns ( Gang of Four)
- Good understanding of Model-View-Presenter (MVP)
- Good understanding of Dependency Injection (inversion of control)
- Property Injection
- Constructor Injection
- Skills in LINQ
- Good understanding of the SQL Queries and performance optimization
- Mobile Application development
- AngularJS and Ionic programming
- Amazon Web Services Mobile Application understanding
- Other Skills:
Experience in the following tools, processes and technology will be viewed very highly in the candidate selection process:
Tools
- DevExpress
- Winform Tools
- SQL Server CE
- Intermediate skills in Structured Query Language and Query Optimization
- TeeChart
- Basic understanding of financial charting and financial markets.
- Software licensing mechanisms and online delivery control. Specifically we use Quick License Manager (QLM) but any other online licensing software knowledge would be viewed positively.

- Net Framework 4.0/4.7.2 (this is listed above as it is a mandatory requirement)
- Good knowledge in .Net framework 4.0/4.7.2
- Windows Service
- Windows service development in C#
- WCF Webservice
- Ability to develop / understand WCF webservices in C#
- PHP Scripting
- Basic understanding of PHP scripting and web-service development in PHP
- Event Aggregator
- this is a core component, the messaging system, of the software environment in which the candidate will be working.

- Agile Methodology
