Detail Drafter (for pooling)  

• Practical knowledge of engineering and building concepts and methodologies.
• Report on job progress and drawing completion.
• Prepare detail drawings as required using Tekla Structures.
• Produce clear & accurate production/shop ready drawings including but not limited to part details, assembly details, erection layout plans to enable the manufacture and erection of steel and precast panels.
• Ensure timely completion of all allocated projects.
• Work closely with other team members to provide accurate project documentation.
• Assist with gaining client approval on documentation and drawings.
• Maintain records regarding any variation or amendments to client’s instructions/drawings.
• Maintain the document transmittal & drawing register to a professional standard.
• Escalate/coordinate resolution of any problems.
• Comply with the requirements of the design drawings and all industry standards.
• Self-check all work in preparation for Team Leader’s approval before issuing works.
• Responsible for ensuring all activities comply with Policies and Procedures.
• You will be expected to maintain a clean and safe workspace, work safely and present yourself professionally.
• Manage personal budgets and targets in line with team leader’s expectations.
• Any other tasks outlined by the Detail Drafter Lead, Senior Structural Modeller/Team Leader or General Manager.

• A Bachelor's Degree holder in any related field
• Must have strong working knowledge of Tekla
• At least 3 years experience is required for this role
• Practical knowledge of engineering and building concepts and methodologies
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent oral/written communication and Personal presentation skills.
• Have an understanding of computers and be proficient in mainstream Microsoft programs
• A strong sense of ownership in everything produced/completed
• Ability to actively contribute to a positive team environment with a can-do attitude.
• Carry out all tasks in a professional manner
• Eye for accuracy and attention to detail
• Escalate issues, errors or omissions openly and professionally
• Ensure quality assurance of completed work prior to handing it on.
• Have initiative coupled with the ability to follow direction from senior team members.
• Flexibility to move between teams and tasks as required
