Software Engineer  

We are looking for a Software Engineer (UI & Mobile) who is responsible for Designing, Developing and Maintaining a number of marketing solutions applications.

Main activities and responsibilities:

• Designing, coding, testing and installing applications programs across multiple platforms.
• Developing operating and system documentation.
• Working with users to evaluate IT applications and equipment requirements.
• Ensuring that systems are developed within agreed budgets and time frames and achieving necessary design and systems security standards.
• Providing technical mentoring and guidance to less experienced members of applications development team.
• Ensure you do not discriminate against, harass or bully co-workers, prospective co-workers, Salmat sub-contractors, visitors, clients or customers and ensure you treat people with fairness and respect in the performance of your duties.
• Ensure all Salmat policies, including Business Management System and Security policies and procedures, are adhered to.
• Ensure Work Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Ensure you, and employees within your area of responsibility, take care at all times to work in a safe manner and report workplace hazards.

• Graduate of Information Technology or higher
• More than 2 years experience in a similar role
• Experience with React and React Native
• Ability to understand the essential needs of users and meet these in well-designed programs
• Ability to work with remote teams
• Ability to solve a problem and provide an appropriate solution
• Ability to work with ambiguity and complexity
• Knowledge of and ability to work under Scrum an Agile Development Methodology
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to Communicate to staff across all levels
• Willing to work in Ortigas
