Job Description

Our client in the property services industry provides outsourced accounting services and innovative property and lease management software solutions to the commercial property industry.
The Property Accountant is responsible for the following:
- Sending SMS reminders for arrears
- Creating termination notices
- Creating lease agreements
- Chasing up unsigned documents form tenants
- Updating inspection reports
- Assisting with insurance audits and other ad hoc tasks
- Recording RCD details
- Entering rent reviews
- Lodging bond forms
- Recording key numbers in the property card
- Archiving Creating and sending out management agreements
- Setting up new properties Setting up new owners
- Setting up new leases
- Variable Outgoings
- Reconciliation
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 3-5 years of commercial accounting experience (exposure to the commercial real estate industry)
- Excellent communication – verbal and written
- Attention to numbers, details oriented
- Questioning personality – wants to know how things work
- General bookkeeping experience will be an advantage
- Bright and quick to learn and understand
- Stable personality, likely to stay for a medium-term
- Reconciliation experience
