Job Description
- Contact, follow up with and retrieve medical records from individual physicians, medical groups and hospitals.
- Maintain time-service, quality and production goals using good work queue management and customer service skills
- Maintain a high level of customer service skills. Present a friendly and professional demeanor
- Handles a high volume of continuous telephone calls and gathers needed information in a timely manner
- Performs multiple tasks simultaneously
- Perform both individually and as a team to meet daily production expectations
- Use appropriate judgment in upward communication regarding customer issues
Minimum Qualifications
- College undergraduate with at least 2 completed years
- Willing to work on a night shift schedule
- Excellent verbal and written English language skills, particularly strong business writing skills
- Excellent customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful)
- Ability to use computer with windows, including MS office applications, electronic mail, internet
- Able to work under pressure to meet daily work load
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage confidential information
- Ability to learn procedures and retain information
