JavaScript Developer | Backend

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for implementing the front-end or back-end logic that defines the behavior of the visual elements of a web application.
• Responsible for connecting this with the services that reside on the back-end.
• Responsible for server-side application logic.
• Work alongside other front-end or back-end web developers who specialize in markup and styling.
• Agile methods used with reviews including European colleagues (PO and Tech Lead in Brussels).

Required Qualifications & Attributes:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or any technology-related field.
• Minimum of three years experience in JavaScript development.
• Background in using NodeJS and ideally Restify.
• Familiar with JSON and XML data exchange.
• Experience using Git versioning platform.
• Experience using Agile / Scrum project methods.
• Good level in SQL programming.
• Experience in invoking web services (SOAP or REST).
• Willing to travel to Belgium for training and knowledge transfer.
