Job Description
The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for leading a full-service accounts payable (AP) department in a strong service oriented environment, ensuring timely and accurate processing and payment of invoices, vendor account reconciliations in accordance with the Company’s accounting policies and US GAAP.
Essential Functions
- Mentor and manage AP specialists, including performance review, goal setting, and coaching
- Oversee the daily accounts payable records, including review for accurate coding and proper approvals and posting to the accounting system; ensure contact and follow-up with vendors for resolution of problems and unresolved payments on accounts and invoices
- Oversee check run process and wires/ACH transfers, including automated payment interface with the general ledger
- Document process flows and desk procedures
- Suggest and implement optimizations of work flows in Accounts Payable from interactions and prior experience. Identify other areas needing improvement and implement agreed up solutions
- Ensures month end internal control procedures are completed and documented
- Prepares audit schedules or management reports as needed
- Performs ad hoc analysis for Finance, and Tax, and other inter-departmental teams as needed
- Participates in special projects such as testing prior to implementation of accounting system changes/upgrades and process improvements
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- 5 – 7 years of accounts payable experience in a mid-sized to large multinational company with a supervisory/management background in a shared service environment
- Knowledge of large general ledger software applications and online procurement and expense reporting systems. S4 HANA and Concur a plus
- Advanced Proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially MS Excel, Outlook) required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience, CPA is a plus
- Applicants must be willing to work in Eastwood City Libis Quezon City
- Preferably Assistant Manager / Managers specializing in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.

- Must be willing to handle shifting / night shift or mid shift schedule
