Job Description
You will be working as a permanent full-time employee of a large ecommerce platform in Tokyo. You will:
- Design, development, and operation of Mercari's API and web app using Go and PHP
- Design and develop various microservices making up our cleint's API
- Work with multiple stakeholders to plan and write clean, scalable code
- Communicate cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical colleagues in English
- Work with QA and test teams to identify and fix bugs
- Mentor junior developers
Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong abilities and experience in Golang
- Development experience working on high-traffic, scalable systems
- Cloud development experience
- Ability to work in an English-speaking environment
