Chief Operations Officer | COO  

As COO, you will directly report to the CEO and work closely with the CTO and CEO to define strategies to execute day to day operations, streamline existing processes, find opportunities to manage growth with cost and ensuring customer experience is at an all-time high. This is an intense business side startup role, and this person will work with the local operations teams along with engineering, product, and process teams. This role will have direct responsibility for the growth of the company. Other responsibilities are as follows:

• Design and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures.
• Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth.
• Establish policies that promote company culture and vision.
• Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives.
• Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication.
• Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.
• Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance.
• Assist CEO in fundraising ventures.
• Participate in expansion activities.
• Manage relationships with partners/vendors.

• BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field.
  • MSc/MBA is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Chief Operating Officer or a relevant role.
• Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, Operations, etc.
• Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
• Experience in fundraising will be a plus.
• Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
• Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and MS Office applications.
• Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
• Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
• Knowledgeable of the Metro Manila geography is a plus.
• Native fluency in Tagalog and English.
