Job Description
• Responsible for the timely installation, setup, maintenance, troubleshooting and replacement (where needed) of endpoint infrastructure (desktops, laptops, desktop printers, scanners, monitors), and other IT infrastructure outside the central data center (branch servers, line printers, LAN switches, bank-owned network equipment, closed-circuit TV, un-interruptible power supply).
• Responsible for the timely rollout and deployment of endpoint software where physical onsite installation is required, e.g. anti-virus, client/server programs, etc.
• As a Senior Field Engineer, his priority assignments will be supporting the more complex endpoint infrastructure like branch servers and network equipment. He is also responsible for training junior engineers, and in cases of major adhoc activities, to supervise a team of field engineers.
Minimum Qualifications
• Fresh Graduate or with at least 1 year experience in help desk or desktop support
• Knowledgeable in computer hardware systems, operating systems, software applications and remote connection systems.
• Experience is supporting banking systems is an advantage
