Job Description
- Supervises and directs the quality functions and activities in support of company goals and objectives and customers' requirements, training programs, reports to executives.
- Assist Plant Manager with developing and implementing standardization and control plans to meet internal and customer needs, including yearly and long term plans.
- Performs daily rounds inspection of entire manufacturing operation.
- Confers with engineering and manufacturing to resolve problems with product design, specifications, materials, tooling, procedures or processes affecting quality.
- Communication with and/or visits to customers and suppliers to discuss specific quality problems.
- Conducts technical investigations to resolve customer complaints and return issues.
- Oversees the calibration of tools and gauges.
- Analyzes company quality data, prepare reports and report to managers and executives.
- Develops corrective/preventative action procedures and works with production to implement and monitor the effectiveness of CAR's.
- Problem-solving, judgment, analytical and evaluation skills and initiative are required.
- Develops systems and procedures to ensure the quality of products.
- Maintains good housekeeping standards in assigned area.
- Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least three (3) years experience in the related field.
- With experience in the manufacturing industry is an advantage
- Technical proficiency must be able to use computers and generate reports.
- Ability to analyze data and create and review processes.
- Willingness to assist other departments to develop solutions and metrics.
- Willing to work flexible shifts as needed
- An eye for details.
- With a strong sense of responsibility and can handle the pressure
- Preferably with background in ISO 9001:2015 Standard
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
