Mid-level Accountant  

Job Summary:
Gather and analyze financial records and documentation for a variety of purposes

Responsibilities:
1 Invoices Parent Company for Branch's costs
2 Prepares Tax Returns and BIR Reports (EWT, CWT, VAT, Income Tax)
3 Processes payables
4 Records transactions through Quickbooks
5 Reviews company payroll
6 Coordinates with external auditors with completing audit
7 Prepares Monthly Financial Statements
8 Review of government payments (SSS, PHIC, HDMF)
9 Preparation of other reports as required by management

We are looking for a highly experienced, motivated and strong-willed individual to become a part of our finance and accounting team.

Candidate must possess at least:

• Bachelor's/College Degree
• Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent. CPA license is an advantage.
• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Required Skill(s): accounting, finance, taxation, reporting
• Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
• With 3-5 years minimum experience in the field of General Accounting/Finance.
• Must have a strong understanding of the accounting theory and good accounting practice.
• Must have a good background in Philippine Taxation and should be able to address issues on BIR and Government Agencies.
• Must have excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Knowledge in Quickbooks is an advantage.
• Good planning skills. Ability to prioritize and deliver timely tasks.
• A team player and can collaboratively work with all levels of employees, management and external resource.
• Should be proactive, can easily comprehend tasks and projects and adaptive to changing work environments.
• Responsible, motivated and willing to learn new tasks.
