Job Description
- Acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives.
- Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
- Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications and approved submittals.
- Setting out the work in accordance with the drawings and specification.
- Managing, monitoring and ensuring compliance with the contract design documents.
- Coordinating with supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
- Supervising and counselling junior or trainee engineers.
Minimum Qualifications
- Licensed Civil Engineer;
- With 5 or 6 years of experience;
- In-depth experience in substation construction and design;
- Has experience in underground civil works for powerlines;
- Knowledgeable in construction and design;
- Must be punctual, honest, hard-working and has a positive attitude;
- Has excellent written and oral communication skills;
- Can work with minimal supervision;
