Plant Production Coordinator  

ROLE

The major role of the Plant Production Coordinator is to PLAN, ORGANIZE, COORDINATE, CONTROL, DIRECT and EXECUTE the production activities of manpower, machineries, facilities and processes in the steel manufacturing plant.

He shall demonstrate an exceptional leadership of all activities in the production plant. Likewise, he shall ensure that the needed processes are planned and coordinated properly among stakeholders, especially the management team.

The Plant Production Coordinator provides the necessary guidance for plant production activities. The position shall ensure that plant processes are planned and coordinated properly to all stakeholders. Likewise, he shall advocate and develop the culture of quality and nurture a safe working environment in the workplace.

1. Specifically, he shall establish the culture of excellence amongst production team in the plant in performing the following tasks:
2. Planning and Coordination of Activities
3. Application of Quality Engineering Management
4. Maintenance of Heavy Equipments & Plant Facilities
5. Special projects that may be assigned by the management
6. Other functions / tasks required by the management

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar baccalaureate studies in engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience, knowledge and skills in manufacturing or industrial operational environment.
• Ability to demonstrate exceptional leadership in managing the plant operations.
• With excellent communication skills that can relate effective interactions and encourage participations of all members of the organization.
• Ability to lead and influence project teams and functional leaders.
• Ability to climb, work in elevated areas, can withstand extended time of walking in the plant vicinity and work in standing position.
• Willing to perform work on nigh shift, extended overtime, weekends and public holidays.
• Has the physical endurance to stand the rigors in the steel manufacturing plant.
• Willing to be assigned in the manufacturing plant in San Simon, Pampanga.
