Reduction Plant Head  

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible in overseeing operations on reduction and Ice plant and ensures that standard operating procedures and qualities are followed every shift
• Ensures that proper documentation on all activities and events are performed in every shift
• Responsible for all aspects in connection with the operation of ice plant and reduction plant
• Responsible for the daily output is within the target and/or rectify any reason for any failure to do so
• Responsible for the implementation of standard operation procedures and good manufacturing practices during operation in ice plant
• Responsible for supervising and dedicating any activities, events and needed documentation in connection with the operation of ice plant
• Responsible to implement any directive from the higher management in connection with the operation of the ice plant
• Responsible for evaluation of all personnel under Ice Plant and Reduction Plant

​​​​​​Education, Certification and Experience

• Graduate of bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial / Chemical Engineering
• Experience in a Reduction plant and Fish Meal is required
• Experience in People Handling/Management is an advantage
• Experience in Planning/Scheduling is an advantage
• Knowledge of quality systems and standards is an advantage
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance is an advantage
• Knowledge of process improvement techniques is an advantage
• Knowledge of human resource principles and practices is an advantage
• Knowledge of machines and tools is an advantage
• Knowledge of engineering and technology principles and practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
