- Conducts an assessment of the patient’s condition to identify the nursing needs .
- Performs the necessary nursing management during admission, transfer and discharge of patients.
- Accompanies physician on rounds and carries out doctor’s orders in conformity with policies and legal limitations.
- Prepares equipment and assists the physicians during treatment, examination and in performing special procedure to the patient.
- Formulates and renders general nursing care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process.
- Observes and records sign and symptoms and institute remedial action when appropriate.
- Prepares and administers medications and other treatment as indicated.
- Starts, adjusts and discontinues routine administration of intravenous therapy and parenteral nutrition as ordered by the physician.
- Provide patient’s nutrition through oral, nasogastric and enteral feedings.
- Performs irrigation, catheterization and enemas.
- Observes and documents the patient’s response to medication and treatments.
- Prepares patients for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Provides psychological, emotional, social and spiritual care to patients and relatives.
- 14. Coordinates with other department for patient’s diagnostic/ laboratory test and procedure.
- 15. Provide the daily charges of patients for the use of medicines , supplies, procedure and equipment in the unit.
- 16. Performs proper and accurate recording and charting of nurses notes.
- 17. Secure consent for procedure.
- 18. Implements hospital policies, rules and regulations and standard of care.
- 19. Give patients and relatives a health teachings and their role in promoting successful therapy and rehabilitation
- 20. Prepares and instructs patient and or family members on the methods and techniques of home care after discharge from the hospital.
- 21. Provides clean, safe and therapeutic environment by application of patient safety management.
- 22. See to it that equipments and supplies receive proper care and maintenance.
- 23. Assists in supervising the performance of trainees and affiliates in the care of patients.
- 24 . Rotates on day, afternoon and nights shifts and maybe required to rotate among various clinical and nursing services of the hospital.
- 25. Performs other related duty as may be assigned from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Professional License (Passed Board/ Bar/ Professional Licensed Exam), Nursing or equivalent.
- Willing to undergo a training program.
- Willing to work in Balayan, Batangas.
- Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.

Medical Center Western Batangas is a corporate-owned tertiary hospital borne out of the desire of fifteen individuals to provide the western part of the province of Batangas a modern hospital that can adequately and competently serve the healthcare need of its population.
We have a modern four-storey building with an approximate total area of around 7,000 square meters of floor space. Our building can accommodate up to 100 beds and located within are doctors’ clinics, diagnostic and treatment facilities and administrative offices. The parking around the hospital can accommodate more than 60 vehicles.
The hospital started its operations on December 2010 with the mission to provide the best medical care and wellness at par with the best hospitals in the country and since then, it has developed a good reputation as a dependable caring and excellent quality healthcare provider. Our optimum medical care is made possible by more than 60 specialist doctors and more than 200 allied medical and non-medical support staff manning the hospital with the aim to provide our patients with the best healthcare possible.
We have some of the latest brand new medical equipment and we are in the process of acquiring more in the near future. We ensure that our patients are provided the best care and accessibility at par in bigger cities like Manila. Soon we will live our dream to be one of the best hospitals in the Philippines.
