Business Analyst  

Responsibilities

• First level support.
• Easily understand the workflows and procedures of the client.
• Filter/review requests before reporting it for development.
• Consolidate requirements and determine applicability of requirements to other lines.
• Participate in transitioning the requirements and use cases to the developers, and ensure a clear and complete understanding of the requirements.
• Analyze client requirements and compare to the functionality provided by the system.
• Suggest alternative strategies, which would require minimum change to core software.
• Work hand in hand with the development team to accomplish tasks.
• Clarify any points which are not understood by the development team.
• Closely coordinate with the QA team while QAs validates different scenarios against Business Requirements.
• Validate normal flow of implemented functionality against Business Requirements.
• Facilitate sprint planning and sprint review.
• Documents implementation of Business Requirements via Use Case and/or Functional Specifications.
• Assist in the documentation necessary for system sign-off.

Standard Objectives:

• To analyze and design new business processes (via UML and use cases).
• Knowledgeable about the workflows and procedures of the business domain.
• To deliver and obtain user sign-off for complete and quality Business Requirements Definition using different analysis methods and techniques, within the timeframe.
• To coordinate effective interaction between Exist development team and client users, especially on the area of development and testing, in order to deliver a quality system within the timeframe specified.
• To coordinate closely with the QA team to validate expected implementation against the Business Requirements.
• To carry out administrative and reporting tasks on a timely manner, complying with company policies and standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Management or any related degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• With at least 2 years related work experience.
• Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must possess solid time and project management skills.
• Must have strong deductive logic, reasoning and analytical skills.
