Dining Supervisor  

The Dining Supervisor is responsible for managing all F&B operations and ensuring delivery of an excellent guest experience. Further, he/she is also in charge of forecasting, planning and managing all F&B orders, staff, and finance.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assists in guest needs and ensures that service meets/exceeds expectations to ensure a memorable and pleasant dining experience;
• Maintains communication with and supports the Food & Beverage Manager;
• Inspects dining room, table settings, chairs, floors, proper maintenance, cleanliness and safety and takes immediate action to correct any issues;
• Manages the guest reservation system.
• Checks tables throughout service times for guest satisfaction and resolves guest complaints.
• In absence of the Food & Beverage Manager may serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) and handle opening or closing procedures.
• Supervises the dining room staff and maintains uniform service standards.
• Conducts daily line-up with dining room staff.
• Ensures side work is completed everyday and dining room supplies are stocked.
• Reports any supply shortages to the Food & Beverage Manager.
• Reviews daily specials, stations and other applicable announcements.
• Coordinates food service between kitchen and service staff.
• Provides timely detailed account of any disciplinary issues to the Food & Beverage Manager
• Reviews daily and weekly functions with Food & Beverage Manager
• Leads to achieve desired results in high-quality service and experience for guests.

• A graduate of any Business related courses
• Must have at least 6 years of experience; 2 years supervisory in a hotel/restaurant setup
• Strong analytical and planning skills
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
