Job Description
Receptionist
The Receptionist is responsible in attending to restaurant guests and directing them to their tables. He/ She assists guests with their queries and escalates major concerns to his/her superior.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Welcomes and greets guests and assigns seats to them;
- Draws up client bookings for tables and ensure that tables are set before clients’ arrival;
- Manages the front desk by greeting and attending to customers;
- Informs guests about the availability of tables and direct them to the tables;
- Keeps records of guests who visit the restaurant;
- Assists customers with answers to queries, and proffer solutions to issues within his/her capacity;
- Collaborates with other restaurant staff and the management to ensure that customer complaints are properly attended to in a timely manner;
- Ensures that clients are charged for services before they exit the restaurant
Minimum Qualifications
- Preferably Female
- Graduate of any four-year course
- Preferably with relative experience in customer service
- With pleasing personality
- Good communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
