Job Description
- Organizes the directive to be given the direct reports by reviewing plans set by the immediate superior and implement the same in accordance with the company rules and regulations to effectively lead the team in the conduct of undertakings.
- Consults other professionals working on the project by discussing the design, dissect every bits and piece of the plan to make sure that directions to subordinate are precise.
- Delegates drawing responsibilities by assessing manpower workload, provides production CAD support, technical support, and orientation to facilitate the conduct of activities.
- Realizes set work environment by implementing and enforcing CAD standards to aid in the pursuit of work excellence.
- Schedules drawing completion by conferring with all project team representatives, pore over each project’s schedule to facilitate prioritization and appropriations.
- Provides support for plotting and electronic file submissions by maintaining a Project Management computer system, daily backups, etc. to facilitate information process.
- Provides training for Autocad Operators by conducting project related model reviews and research, developing training budget and overall scope, etc., to promote learning and development.
- Cleans up CAD files by maintaining an archive server for completed projects for project close out.
- Provides input to business development by generating written technology evaluations for future software adoption, process modification, and system upgrade to provide leadership and vision to the firm in the area of CAD.
- Ensures sufficiency of department supplies and technology resources by insuring CAD vendor management, provides a budget for all CAD technology items, maintains CAD software inventory, etc., to maintain ease of operations.
- Enriches oneself by researching new trends and technology to reinforce knowledge and skills in the chosen field.
- Performs other functions which may be required by the immediate superior from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
- With a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
- Knowledgeable in manual and computer aided design drafting (CADD) software, Sketch-up, Renderings, Photoshop, etc
- With at least three years of related work experience
