Job Description
- Validates instructions by conferring with immediate superior to make sure all specifications of the project are clear and in accordance with the requirements set by the client.
- Prepares preliminary program documents and designs by actively communicating with the design consultant, clients, and relevant third parties to achieve conformity prior to implementation.
- Secures approval of the design consultant by preparing submittal to present for client review and facilitate resolving design issues.
- Collaborates with the CAD team thru their Head by providing technical information and schematic drawings for encoding, constantly reviewing outputs and timeline to facilitate accurateness and adherence to schedule.
- Acts as a consultant by providing technical insight and experience to the issues of coordination and the management of the design and construction certification as and when required to aid the team in decision making and ideal execution thereof.
- Monitors progress of consultants by receiving regular progress reports and producing regular composite progress updates for reporting back to the immediate supervisor and to the clients.
- Tracks the progress of all project team members by chairing site meetings and distribute minutes of the meetings to facilitate weaving of activities, sequencing, and scheduling.
- Supports implementation team by reviewing contract documents, provides drawings and material specification, information on revisions and change of materials for correct scope implementation.
- Coordinates with various departments and teams by preparing various correspondences, reports, documents and requests to ensure timely execution of deliverables, adherence to policies and procedure.
- Performs other functions which may be required by the immediate superior from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
- A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Architecture or Civil Engineering
- Knowledgeable in Autocad and other related software
- At least three years work experience in similar work environment
