Job Description
- Validates received instructions from immediate superior by receiving pertinent documents, clarifying understanding and deliberating on directives to make sure that undertakings will meet specified requirements
- Gives instructions to direct report by reviewing SRS of special materials, providing necessary documents and directives to facilitate delegation of tasks.
- Reviews received PO details from Canvasser by checking for correctness of price based on pricelist, description of the items, and completeness as per SRS to facilitate accurateness and early detection of incongruity.
- Obtains approvals by evaluating all special items (local and imported) and Sub-con items, preparing for proper submittals of materials samples to facilitate authorization to purchase.
- Negotiates for discounts, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, etc., by working out means where the company can leverage to settle on terms that is advantageous and beneficial for the company.
- Updates SRS Monitoring Log by collecting and inputting data to facilitate information process.
- Assists direct report by regularly inquiring about any difficulties encountered to provide guidance in the resolution thereof.
- Provides information related to function by attending various meetings to contribute to decision making.
- Troubleshoots problem encountered in supply and delivery of special materials by coordinating with vendors and various linked departments in gathering information, suggestions, etc., to maintain efficient operations.
- Coordinates work with team members by forwarding pertinent documents to facilitate work synergy.
- Performs other functions which may be required by the immediate superior from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
- A graduate BS Civil Engineering, BS Architecture and or any four-year business related course
- With at least three years of relevant work experience
