Job Description
- Validates received instructions from immediate superior by clarifying understanding to conduct tasks accordingly.
- Coordinates directives from the immediate superior by communicating with team members and various related departments to facilitate team work.
- Provides directives to line subordinate by discussing undertakings and guidelines in the conduct of tasks to facilitate delegation of responsibility.
- Approves PO by checking and reviewing the prices of materials requested based on the price list database to facilitate correctness and proper authorization to purchase.
- Checks SRS approvals by examining all SRS received if filed and approved by authorized personnel, and by verifying signatures to ensure compliance to guidelines and policies.
- Handles PO with special terms of payment by overseeing completeness of attachments prior to sending to Accounting AP Staff to facilitate check preparation.
- Files original POs where payment is not yet required by categorizing, sorting and utilizing office cabinets and equipment to facilitate safe keeping.
- Reviews requests for payment by checking for completeness of documents and correct amount to ensure accurate payment.
- Checks and audits petty cash reimbursements and liquidations by verifying information accuracy and compliance to the procedures and guidelines of the PCF to facilitate accountability and cash flow balancing.
- Handles acquisition of signatures from the President by preparing and reviewing checks and check vouchers to facilitate payment to suppliers and sub-cons.
- Performs other functions which may be required by the immediate superior from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
- A graduate of any four year business related course
- With at least five years of relevant work experience
