Job Description

  • Receives instructions from immediate superior by conferring and elucidate comprehension of such to complete tasks accurately.
  • Sources for manpower by advertising and posting of job vacancies on web-based recruitment platforms and social media, tarpaulin hanging on construction sites, etc. to satisfy approved manpower requests of client-department units.
  • Screens candidates by scheduling and conducting examination and initial interview, endorsement to Department Head and final interview to guarantee hiring of the best person for the job.
  • Prepares new hires for employment by providing checklist of pre-employment requirements, provide ID’s, on-boarding, etc. to facilitate transition of candidates as newly hired employees of the company.
  • Maintains HR Database by regularly updating personnel information and employment status, 201 file and records of employees whenever necessary to ensure that all employee information are current and correct and prevent infringement for the lack thereof.
  • Manages files and other pertinent documents for record keeping by utilizing appropriate office equipment, locked cabinets for confidential files, and categorically organize folder system for soft copies in the computer for safekeeping and easy retrieval.
  • Prepares memos and correspondences, including Performance Appraisal Form, hiring form, etc., by drafting a template and have it approved by the HR Supervisor and HR and Admin Head, printing and storing approved forms to facilitate communication and transaction within the company.
  • Keeps top management, departments and other HR clients informed on the status of the company and other pertinent information by preparing various reports to assist in management decision making.
  • Supports HR-Payroll by collecting employee’s daily attendance, vacation/sick leave, overtime and appointment slip to ensure that the payroll is accurate and prevent setbacks.
  • Reports to HR Supervisor and HR Head any violation of company policy by receiving incident reports for HR Suoervisor and HR Head to assist line managers in handling disciplinary actions.
  • Maintains the line of communication open by serving as the gateway for both the labor, in airing out their grievances, and for the management in promulgating their stand point to facilitate industrial peace.
  • Provides assistance to employees by answering phone calls and transferring it to appropriate HR or Admin staff, answering employee queries regarding general HR information which are not confidential in nature, interpreting contracts and benefits to facilitate information dissemination and prevent confusion.
  • Monitors employees due for regularization by reviewing performance evaluations conducted by department heads/managers at the third month and fifth month of the probationary period to facilitate preparation of contracts for those due for regularization and informing of employees who didn’t meet the company standards on the termination of their probation period in due time as mandated by the law.
  • Monitors terminations and resignations by receiving resignation letters and AWOL reports from line supervisors to update database, update payroll, and facilitate clearances.
  • Performs other functions which may be required by the immediate superior from time to time.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A graduate of BS Psychology and or Human Resource
  • Knowledgeable in all facets of Human Resources
  • With at least three years of related work experience
