- Develops innovative network troubleshooting methods that reduce downtime and lower repair costs.
- Works closely with departmental managers to determine the maintenance and growth needs of the network.
- Monitors changing network technology and deliver a technology update to the executive team each quarter.
- Creates and administers disaster plans that will keep the company functional in the event of a crisis.
- Determines the rationale and methods for upgrading company network software programs each time an update is released.
- Manages information technology and computer systems.
- Plans, organizes, controls. and evaluates IT and electronic data operations.
- Manages IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance.
- Designs, develops, implements, and coordinates systems, policies, and procedures.
- Ensures security of data, network access, and backup systems.
- Acts in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy.
- Identifies problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.
- Audit ssystems and assess their outcomes.
- Preserves assets, information security, and control structures.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years experience in information technology management.
- Comprehensive understanding of network architecture and client/server technology.
- Software development abilities preferred.
- Strong problem solving and communication skills required.
