Job Description
- Conducts handler/process buyoff, new package type materials based on an existing process buyoff requirements.
- Verifies non-electrical hold lot issues and internal customer complaints and provides disposition and containment actions to affected lots with basis on specs or any written approved documents.
- Performs test process and procedural audits to verify proper execution of procedures and to achieve feedbacks for the continuous improvement of the process. Verifies implementation and effectiveness of existing OCAP and update as needed.
- Collaborates with the different department to standardize procedures, execution or implementation and understanding of procedures and improvements to areas where applicable. Communicates with other departments and/or other sites in search of best practices.
- Coaches and mentors coordinators on process engineering activities; and conducts line briefing or orientation to production line for the implementation of new processes or change in procedures.
- Reviews and revises test processes, buyoff procedures and work instructions. Carries out preventive measures that will bring down process-related setup down; handles and resolves process related setup down within reasonable time to support equipment utilization, cycle time goal and product delivery. Prepares relevant reports, flow diagrams and charts.
- Simplifies and unifies existing specs and removes non-value added activities.
- Assesses the availability of raw materials and the safety and environmental impact in the Final Test floor.
Minimum Qualifications
- Engineering graduate in the fields of electronics, electrical, mechanical, or computer or its equivalent
- At least 5 years of work experience in the electronics or semiconductor industry in Fab, Wafersort, Assembly, Final Test, and/or Tape &Reel
- Familiar with Manufacturing, Fab, or Assembly environment
- Computer literate; must be assertive, fast learner, highly-motivated, adaptable, detail oriented, strong problem solving skills; can work under pressure; critical thinking, continuous learning; must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and is a team player
- Strong background in FMEA, DOE, 8D, SPC, JMP, Control Plan, OCAP and other problem solving and risk management tools.
- Being familiar on DMAIC or TPM tools is an advantage
