Job Description
The Events and Partnerships Officer will help accelerate the mission and vision of Masungi Georeserve Foundation by creating, selling and managing programs that increase visitation and partnership with target travel segments assigned to him or her. Sample target markets include corporates, schools, weddings and special events, and foreign markets.
He or she will also help lead overall sales and marketing efforts of the organization. He or she needs to be driven to excel, be resourceful and a hustler, as well as comfortable in ambiguity or starting from a blank slate.

Sample tasks include:
- Creating and implementing special programs for assigned target markets (eg. corporate, foreign markets, special events, travel partners) to share the Masungi experience and contribute to the georeserve's sustainability and maximizing utilization of assets
- Forming partnerships or selling these programs to reach assigned targets
- Organizing, managing and supervising these events on the ground
- Forming long-lasting relationships with different partners and loyal guests
- Design, implement and grow other revenue-generating initiatives aligned with the mission and vision of Masungi Georeserve
This role is based in Baras, Rizal (~1.5 hours from the Quezon City) for 5 (five) days a week. Staff quarters are available upon request.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong leadership abilities
- Entrepreneurial and creative mindset
- Relevant experience in sales, accounts management, or events
- Superior communication and presentation skills
- Can work independently with minimal supervision
- Enjoys working in the outdoors and natural environment since many events are held outdoors
- Must possess an understanding and appreciation of the Philippines' unique environmental conservation realities
