The People Operations Manager (POM) will be in charge of overall community operations of Masungi Geo-reserve, including recruitment, training, and development of local rangers and volunteers, all towards the conservation of the Masungi landscape and the upliftment of local communities.
He or she will supervise a team of 20-25 and is expected to be housed in the Masungi Geo-reserve site in Baras, Rizal (1.5 hours from Metro Manila). He or she will report to the Project Manager and will work with the Trail Operations Manager to ensure smooth flow of Geo-tourism activities inside the Geo-reserve. He or she is also expected to conduct community programs for local communities including nearby baranggays, indigenous people, and youth.
The People Operations Manager shall be a key team player in achieving our vision of becoming a UNESCO Geopark in the country through our three-fold advocacy of environmental conservation, education, and sustainable development through Geo-tourism.
Minimum Qualifications
- Dedication to training and people development
- Adept at organizing community activities
- At least one year experience in human resources-related work
- Passion for nature and outdoors
