The Advocacy Officer will help accelerate the environmental conservation mission and vision of Masungi Georeserve Foundation through creative, effective and meaningful campaigns, projects, content, events, and partnerships. We like original, thoughtful and values-oriented approach to conservation communications.

If you are someone who has a passion for the environment and who has the leadership and drive to help us conserve the Masungi landscape against many threats, then this may be the role for you!

Tasks include the following:

• Creating and implementing campaigns to mainstream and lobby for Masungi's conservation, sustainable tourism, and other advocacies
• Produce and distribute content, briefs, press releases, education and information materials targeted to specific audiences and decision-makers
• Organize coalitions and community building efforts
• Lead special projects and tasks as assigned by the Project Manager

Note: The role is primarily based in the georeserve in Baras, Rizal (1.5 hours from the city) from Tuesday to Saturday.

• Has an understanding and appreciation of the Philippines' unique environmental conservation realities, and a desire to create an impact;
• A flair for storytelling through excellent writing and producing multimedia content;
• Experience in campaigning and organizing;
• Dynamic & versatile communicator to people from all walks of life;
• Strong leadership, critical thinking, and conflict resolution abilities;
• External relations and project management skills;
• Can work independently with minimal supervision;
• Physically fit and enjoys regularly working with nature and the outdoors;
• This role is ideal for those with 1 - 3 years of relevant experience in communications, advocacy work, and/or community mobilization
