Job Description
The Human Resource Officer will lead and conduct human resource related functions in Masungi Georeserve for its conservation and development needs. It entails strong leadership skills, and experience managing an organisation of 60-80 individuals coming from nearby upland communities. Working closely with the project managers, activities include the following:
- Establishing HR processes
- Conduct payroll processing needs
- Monitoring and resolving needs for compensation and benefits (SSS/Philhealth/Etc.) of team members of the organisation
- Overall monitoring of compliance to policies of the organisation and legal requirements
- Spearheading team member relations and counseling
- Coordinating with the Community Relations Officer for recruitment and on-boarding needs
- Coordinating with Learning & Development Officer for training needs of the team
Minimum Qualifications
- At least a year of experience in Human Resource function
- Interest in working with communities is a plus
- Must have excellent communications, crisis management, and leadership capacity
- Ability to start-up the human resource function and create systems
