Job Description
- Prepare information regarding design, structure specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs, and construction time.
- Consult with client to determine functional and spatial requirements of structure.
- Direct activities of workers engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents.
- Plan layout of project.
- Prepare contract documents for building contractors.
- Prepare scale drawings.
- Integrate engineering element into unified design.
- Conduct periodic on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with plans.
- Administer construction contracts.
- Represent client in obtaining bids and awarding construction contracts.
- Prepare operating and maintenance manuals, studies, and reports.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's / College Degree in Architecture
- License (Passed Board Exam) in Architecture or equivalent is not necessary but an advantage
- At least five (5) years of proven working experience in related field ir required for this position
- Must have good drawing skills with the ability to work in the three dimensions (3D)
- Proficient in MS Office, AUTOCAD, STAAD, Sketch-Up, and solid works
- Can convert models into 2D/3D detailed approval drawings, erection plans, shop part drawing, and bill of materials in a timely manner to ensure accurate fabrication and on-time delivery
- Well-versed with 2D/3D CAD software operations and willing to extend hours if needed
- Good presentation and communication skills both verbal and written
- High level of creativity and imagination
- Can work independently with less supervision and can start as soon as possible
