Job Description
- Design interiors while considering how the space will be used and how people will move through the space.
- Sketch preliminary design plans, including electrical layouts.
- Specify materials and furnishings, such as lighting, furniture, wall finishes, flooring, and plumbing fixtures.
- Prepare final plan, using computer applications.
- Create a timeline for the interior design project and estimate project costs.
- Conduct feasibility studies for projects.
- Research and gather information and photographs relating to the project.
- Produce 'sample' or 'mood' boards to present to clients.
- Source products, e.g. fittings, furniture, lighting, finishes, decoration, and dressing.
- Provide samples for clients.
- Prepare detailed working drawings, designs, plans, models, and schemes, often using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Work in a team with other Designers.
- Keep up to date with new developments in the design industry.
Minimum Qualifications
- Preferably 1-4 years of experience specializing in Architecture, Interior Design, or any equivalent course.
- Preferably at least Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Architecture or its equivalent.
- At least 1 year of work experience in the related field.
- CAD skills.
- Good drawing and IT skills
- Creativity and imagination.
- An eye for design, including color, and good 3D awareness.
- Ability to visualize concepts and explain them to others.
- An interest in changing trends in design.
- Willing to work in General Trias, Cavite.
