Job Description
- Creates and develops comprehensive financial models, taking into account all elements and details that influence the outcome and viability of the project on review, including various types of risk (credit, financial, economic, etc.).
- Employs various financial and statistical tools where applicable to simulate probable behavior and trends of data.
- Injects values and inputs to improve the organizational and financial model of the projects on review, increasing their chances of success.
- Assists the Chief Finance Officer or Project Lead in sourcing data needed for the financial model.
- Prepares visual presentations regarding the financial aspects of the project.
- Conducts research as needed on financial aspects of the projects.
- Assists the Budget Manager in financial control function, i.e. budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, etc.
- Analyses and interprets financial data.
- Compiles, comparison of results against budget, income and expenditure analysis.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor or College Degree in Economics, Finance, Accountancy, Banking or equivalent; Preferably Certified Financial Analyst (CFA)
- At least 4-years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
- Skills: Corporate finance, developing standards, quality management, problem-solving, process improvement, cost accounting, statistical analysis, financial planning and strategy, reporting research results, requirements analysis, and financial skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel with basic PowerPoint presentation skills
- Keen to details, strong organizational and analytical skills, can work independently, resourceful, results-oriented, high sense of urgency, and can work/interact with senior officers
