Polices and Internal Control
- Manages the implementation of internal control procedures in all activities
- Lays down and executes management policies, including custody of the same.
- Develops, implements, and ensures compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures
- Documents business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Budget
- Acts as mini-Controller/Funds Manager (SAP Funds Management module) of MWTV, including implementation of budget supplement for MWPV’s subsidiaries.
- Coordinates and directs the preparation of the budget (rollout, preparation, challenging, consolidation, presentation and utilization) and for-the-year financial forecast and budget variance reports
- Formulates opex savings initiatives for MWTV in coordination with the expense owners
Reports
- Manages monthly reporting of per department opex update and quarterly presentation to MWPV and MWAP Mancom
- Supports month-end and year-end closing processes and relevant reports
- Organizes monthly Operating and Financial Highlights reporting to the Group CFO
- Prepares and analyzes financial performance of the subsidiaries via an Executive Summary Report
- Acts as a corporate resource and performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time as the business requires
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance or related field
- CPA Board (required), 5 years minimum experience
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree, Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
- Willing to be assigned in Maginhawa, Quezon City.

Manila Water Philippine Ventures (MWPV) was designated as the vehicle for expansion within the Philippines. With focus on geographic expansion, its specific mandate is to look for new acquisitions and partnerships across the country while leveraging on the track record set by the existing subsidiary businesses in Boracay, Cebu, Clark and Laguna.
Currently under MWPV are LagunaAAA Water Corporation (“Laguna Water”), Boracay Island Water Company (“Boracay Water”), Clark Water Corporation (“Clark Water”), Manila Water Consortium, Inc. (“MW Consortium”), and Estate Water, an operating division under MWPV which operates and manages the water systems of townships developed by Ayala Land, Inc. A subsidiary of MW Consortium is Cebu Manila Water Development, Inc. (“Cebu Water”) that provides bulk water in the province of Cebu. The Group has other new projects in its portfolio including the Zamboanga City performance-based non-revenue water reduction project under Zamboanga Water Company, Inc. (“Zamboanga Water”) and the Tagum City bulk water supply project under Tagum Water Company, Inc. (“Tagum Water”), among others.
