Job Description

Job Descriptions:

  • Acts as Technical Ventures principal assistant and consultant in the development and application of programs to remove the hazards from the workplace and to correct unsafe work practices.
  • Ensure Technical Ventures compliance to Occupational Safety and Health Standards of DOLE and other OSH related legal requirement to both employees and vendors (contractors and suppliers).
  • Designs, develops and implements employee and vendor safety program for Technical Ventures and establish safety culture across the business.
  • Acts as technical consultant on the application of Occupational Safety and Health Standards of DOLE and other OSH related legal requirement to both employees and vendors (contractors and suppliers)
  • Design, develop and implement employee and vendor safety programs in Technical Ventures and subsidiary to establish safety culture across the business.
  • Train employees and vendors on safety standards to ensure activities are carried out in a safe and sound manner.
  • Facilitates participation, communication and consultation process on safety concerns through H&S Committee. Acts as the secretariat of H & S Committee.
  • Facilitates the conduct of risk assessment for operational facilities, critical project, emergency works and new operational methods, processes and new project undertakings.
  • Co-develops safe systems of work, safety procedures and processes.
  • Reviews Health and Safety Program and HIRAC result to ensure that activity is well planned and proper safety measures are established prior to commencement of the activity.
  • Initiates random site/facility audits for safety management system implantation of both EW facilities and vendors.
  • Establishes safety requirements in the bid document, contracts, HAZOP and HAZCON studies and other critical projects to ensure compliance to applicable legal requirement.
  • Conducts accident and near miss investigation and reporting.
  • Facilitates issue resolution on matters related to safety violations for both employee and vendor.
  • Performs other related functions inherent in team operation, acts as corporate resource and performs other tasks assigned by higher management.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Holder of any Bachelor’s Degree (Preferably in Engineering)
  • Must be an Accredited Safety Practitioner of DOLE
  • At least 4 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
