Responsible for overseeing the preparation, cooking and presentation of the menu and assist the Executive Chef in the management of the kitchen.
- Organize & manage menu preparation, cooking and presentation.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared and cooked according to specified standards by Exec Chef.
- Manage the development and supervision of the commis chefs in the section, ensuring they are fully trained and understand their duties.
- Ensure that all food and other departmental supplies are ordered in a timely manner.
- Ensure wastage control & help maintain food cost.
- Participate in the design of seasonal and cycle menus.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Preferably with 2 years experience as Kitchen Supervisor or Chef De Partie in a fine dining restaurant or in any 5-star hotel;
- Extensive experience in cooking preferred;
- Ability to read, write English and Filipino;
- Ability to work well under pressure, in a calm & efficient manner in order to meet set deadlines;
- Physical stamina;
