Job Description
Your role will be working on the finance team helping our assistants manage financial transactions by being the go-between for the finance team and the assistants. You will primarily be Communicating between the operational team, finance team, and management team to ensure all financial transactions go smoothly.
Additionally, you will:
- Observe trends in user behavior to recommend next actions to the management team
- Optimize existing processes for greater efficiency
- Match transactions to clients and requests
- Create reports for the executive team detailing the week’s activity
- Develop and scale our finance systems as we grow
- Monitor daily account balances, cash on hand, and reconcile accounts
- Actively monitor accounts receivable to minimize losses
- Establish financial controls to monitor cash flow on merchandise purchases
- Oversee vendor onboarding process with required documentation
- Close out monthly accounts and manage tax filings

Minimum Qualifications
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Effective communication skills - can communicate across teams with varied interests
- High level thinking - ability to envision the entire financial operation and communicate it to executive level management
- Foresight - ability to see problems before they arise, envision creative solutions, and implement
- Ability to work in the BGC
