Job Description
We're looking for a Web Developer to be part of Magic's Internal Team! The Web Developer will be responsible for building landing pages, preparing UI/UX wireframes and illustrations, and maintaining the website.
Job Type: Full-Time, Work from home
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrated success managing sites created on the WordPress platform or similar.
- Ability to recommend thoughtful content strategy supporting complex sections of content and make decisions around page look/structure that optimizes usability while preserving brand/website style guide.
- Familiarity with and passionate support of online best practices around responsive design, development, user experience, and SEO.
- Be able to lead a WordPress project from concept to completion, including interfacing and communicating with multiple clients.
- Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
- Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
- Stay abreast of website technologies and best practices
Minimum Qualifications
- Have a bachelor’s degree in IT or relevant degrees
- At least 3 years of WordPress development experience and experience leading projects
- Experience in launching lead generation landing pages.
- Experience in Clickfunnels, Swipe Pages, and Unbounce is a plus but not required.
- Understand the importance of strong company culture and being a part of a team
- Able to focus on a task to completion with precise attention to detail
- A “go-getter” -results-oriented and puts in extra effort to exceed expectations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly present complex ideas and information
- Highly self-motivated with a desire to expand their skills
- Ability to execute multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Candidates must provide a Resume and Portfolio sample to be considered
